Known for his ‘Raku fired’ animal sculptures, Brian now focuses on a more traditional style of country ceramics known as ‘Slipware’ in his case a red clay decorated with coloured ‘slips’. The larger animal pieces are finished without glaze or only in part, giving them a dry-looking finish, keeping them more in relation with the animal.
